were bought at Rs 48 per dozen and sold at the rate of Rs 40 per 10. Find the
gain or loss per cent.
10. Raj
bought a watch for Rs. 800 and sold it for Rs. 1000. Anu bought a car for Rs.
4,00,000 and sold it for Rs. 4,20,000. Who made a better sale, Raj or Anu?
11. A real
estate agent receives Rs 50,000 as commission, which is 4% of the selling
price. At what price does the agent sell the property?
12. A watch
worth Rs 5400 is offered for sale at Rs 4,500. What per cent discount is
offered during the sale?
